Dr Martin Wilkening graduated in dentistry from the University of Göttingen, Germany in 1994. He undertook postgraduate surgical training in Oral Surgery and received the Board Accreditation Certificate as an Oral Surgeon from Berlin, Germany in 2005. He has been working at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department since 2005.
Surgical and Implant Dentistry

- Wisdom teeth extractions
- Surgical tooth extractions and exposures
- Dental extractions
- Dental implant surgery
- Apicectomies
- Minor dentoalveolar surgery
- Procedures under local - and general anaesthesia
Dr Wilkening participates in the Enhanced Primary Care Plan which is a government program to provide more preventive care for older Australians and improve coordination of care for people with chronic conditions and complex needs.
Patients must provide a copy of their EPC along with their referral and any current x-rays.
