We are seeking a highly self motivated Division 1 Nurse. This position is part time working a 5 day fortnight; Week 1 – Thursday & Friday, Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to become an integral member of this busy clinic.

The suitable applicant will have a strong background in Medical Director, and must have a current Victorian registration to join our busy General Practice to utilise your experience and skills within the day to day operations of this clinic.
This position will expose to you a broad range of triage skills, acute illness, injuries, & preventative health with a diverse patient mix.
The role will include:
- Providing a full range of medical services to the doctors and patients
- Managing Recall system
- Managing health assessments and developing appropriate health care plans
- Organising and conducting immunisations
- Assisting doctors with surgical procedures and wound care
- Sterilising instruments
- Taking blood
- Identify & contribute to the development of patient educational needs
- Implement & practice Infection Control Policies
- Patient triage & a high level of communication
- Good understanding of OH&S
- Multi tasking, problem solving & time management
- Excellent communication skills & good understanding of the Award & compliance
- Confidentiality & management of patient records
- Mature, reliable, flexible & caring disposition with a sense of urgency
- Competent in following directions
Experience in a similar role is highly regarded, as is your ability to work under pressure, use your initiative and problem solving skills.
